Cosmonaut Coffee has been making espresso drinks upstairs on Division Avenue, across from Wright Park, since 2007, when it opened as Satellite Coffee. The name suits the room, which has a do-it-yourself 1960s space theme and plenty of space memorabilia.
The coffee comes from Cat & Cloud Coffee Roasters, and the chai is from MyChai. Coffee alternatives include a mushroom mocha and a golden latte, with oat, hemp, soy and almond milk on hand. Pastries come from Spilled Butter, and the donuts, from Dude’s Donuts, are plant-based and gluten-free. Seating is limited, dogs and kids are welcome, and it closes in the early afternoon.
