Slice of Life Pizza Deli is a family-owned pizzeria and sub shop on Pacific Avenue in the South End that bills itself as “a slice of east coast in the west.” Pizzas come in 16- and 18-inch sizes, including the house Slice Special with pepperoni, pepperoncini and pineapple, and any pie can swap red sauce for house-made Alfredo. Slices and calzones are on the menu too.
The deli side covers hoagies: cold cuts like the Trifecta and the Seahawk, and hot subs like meatball, French dip and cheesesteak. Vegan mozzarella is available, and orders can be placed online for pickup or delivery.
