Taqueria La Michoacana is a casual sit-down taqueria on South 38th Street, across from the Safeway, that pitches its cooking as the kind that reminds you of your tía’s. Tacos come with chicken, shrimp, fish, lengua or chorizo, octopus is on the list too, and rajas or nopales can go on top. The super tacos add cheese, beans, queso and birria.
