Asado is a steakhouse at Sixth Avenue and Pine Street built around a wood-fired, Argentine-style grill. Steaks and a mixed grill of skirt steak, prawns and chorizo come with chimichurri, salsa criolla and a choice of Peruvian purple mashed potatoes or poblano polenta. The rest of the menu runs to empanadas, ceviche, oysters, house-made pastas and sides like roasted carrots on labneh.
There are seats at the bar, a happy hour and a Tuesday deal on wine bottles. It takes reservations, and takeout and delivery are available.
