Comal en Brasa is a casual counter-service spot on Sixth Avenue that opened in September 2026 next door to Fuego Nightclub, from the club’s owners. The menu splits between El Salvador and Mexico. Pupusas are made with corn or rice flour and served with salsa and curtido, loroco and revueltas among them, and the chicken tamal comes Salvadoran-style in a banana leaf.
On the Mexican side there are quesabirria, enchiladas and street tacos with barbacoa, lengua or steak, plus beef and hen soups. It stays open until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and takes orders online for pickup or delivery.
