El Tanque Mexican Food is a taco truck parked at Garry’s on Pearl, the corner market on North Pearl Street near Ruston, with posted hours Monday through Saturday from late morning into the evening. Tacos come with chicken, carnitas or marinated pork, and asada, tripa and tongue cost extra.
The taco plate brings three tacos with pico de gallo, rice and beans, and the burrito plate is a 10-inch flour tortilla smothered in chipotle sauce and cheese. Orders can be placed online for pickup or delivery.
