Frisko Freeze is a drive-in on Division Avenue that has been in business since July 27, 1950, and it’s listed on the Tacoma Register of Historic Places. It started out with sodas and milkshakes. Burgers are front and center now, and the drive-in still credits them to founder Perry Smith.
Orders can be placed online for takeout, and it stays open late every night, until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
