Kingfisher & Rye is a whiskey-focused tavern on Sixth Avenue that took over the old Crown Bar in 2025 and kept its woodwork. The kitchen turns out pub food, with haddock fish and chips and a Flemish beef stew among the staples, and the dining room has table service.
The bar stocks Guinness, Jameson and American whiskeys, pours local beer from a handful of taps and mixes its own cocktails. The calendar includes Irish music jams, Sunday board games and Thursday movie nights, and the space can be booked for private events.
