State Street Beer Co. is a neighborhood bar just off Sixth Avenue, behind Bluebeard Coffee Roasters, pouring craft beer and natural wine alongside Neapolitan-style pizza. The pizza started as a way to get through the pandemic, and it stuck. The 12-inch pies include a San Marzano Margherita, a pepperoni with jalapeño and honey, a potato pie with rosemary and manchego, and two vegan options. Gluten-free crust is available.
Burrata with pistachio pesto and a snack board fill in around the pizza, and a retail cooler holds cans for here or to go. Well-behaved guests of all ages are welcome. Orders are taken in person only, with no reservations.
