Tacoma Pie is a pizzeria on Sixth Avenue whose pies mix Sicilian, grandma and Detroit styles, with nods to Tony’s and Golden Boy in San Francisco. The dough gets a long, slow fermentation, the sauce has a kick, and every pie has the crisp frico edge of browned cheese that marks Detroit-style pizza. Mild sauce is available on request, and there’s dairy-free cheese.
Pies come uncut unless customers ask for slices. The kitchen also makes lasagna, classic or a veggie white-sauce version, served hot or grab-and-go, and runs monthly specials. Delivery goes through DoorDash and Uber Eats.
