Foss Waterway Seaport holds Ciders & Sails, a 21+ craft cider tasting and fundraiser, on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026, from 3 to 6 p.m. It takes place at the maritime museum at 705 Dock St., on the Thea Foss Waterway in downtown Tacoma.
What’s being poured
The Seaport bills the afternoon as a waterfront celebration of craft cider and Tacoma’s maritime history. Pours are 3 ounces each and come from Pacific Northwest cideries. The event page doesn’t name this year’s cideries, so check it closer to the date if you’re hoping for a particular maker. Tickets also cover light bites and non-alcoholic options, so there’s something in hand for the designated driver.
Live music comes from local musicians Toya Fragoso, Guilded Lily, Erina McLaren and John Lane. Every ticket includes access to the museum, so there’s time to wander the exhibits between tastes.
Tickets and getting there
General admission is $38.68, tax included, and covers eight 3-ounce cider pours, light bites, live entertainment and museum access. Extra tasting tokens are sold at the event for anyone who wants more than eight pours. Designated driver tickets are $27.63 and include non-alcoholic drinks, light bites, entertainment and museum admission.
Everyone has to be 21 or older, designated drivers included, and the Seaport says all guests must show valid legal ID. Limited free parking comes with the ticket. The Seaport asks people to carpool, use a rideshare and plan a safe ride home.
Ciders & Sails raises money for the Seaport itself. Proceeds support the 126-year-old historic building, community programs and maritime education. The 2025 edition ran on Nov. 15 last year, with the same 3 to 6 p.m. hours.
