Buddy’s Chicken & Waffles is a full-service chicken-and-waffle restaurant in the Lincoln District, in the former Uncle Thurm’s space. Waffles are made to order in flavors like buttermilk, cornbread, Cheddar Bay biscuit, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and cookies and cream, and each comes with two hand-breaded tenders. The chicken is halal.
The same tenders go into sandwiches and boxes with seasoned fries. Buddy’s also runs a food truck, takes catering orders, and opened a second, mostly takeout shop on South Tacoma Way in 2026.
