Macaluso’s is a family-owned Italian restaurant on the corner of North Pearl in Ruston, near Point Defiance Park. The dish that carries the family name is the Alfredo Macaluso, and the kitchen also turns out hand-rolled gnocchi, linguine pescatore and porcini ravioli.
Wine gets real attention, with a hand-picked list from Italy and the West Coast by the glass or bottle, a weekly Wine Wednesday and five-course winemaker dinners a few times a year. Brunch runs on weekends. Reservations are taken by phone, the bar is open seating for walk-ins, and the restaurant handles private events and off-site catering.
