Parky’s Pizza Bar is a McKinley Hill tavern that spent 84 years as a no-frills watering hole before it was reimagined as a pizza bar in 2021. The Neapolitan-inspired 12-inch pies use dough that cold-ferments for five days and a mix of fresh and dry mozzarella, and most of them also come as calzones. Pressed paninis, salads, twice-baked wings and nachos topped with pickled onions fill out the menu.
The rotating tap list leans on local breweries, and whiskey is part of the lineup. Tuesday is taco night. On Fridays and Saturdays pool is free and the kitchen adds specialty pizzas, and there’s a fire pit.
