Abella Pizzeria is an American-style pizza shop on Pacific Avenue downtown, near the UW Tacoma campus. Pies come hand-tossed or thin crust, on red, alfredo, basil pesto or garlic olive oil sauce. The specialty list includes the Peppercotta with pepperoni, sausage and ricotta, a five-cheese Cheese Lovers and the Spicy Luau with barbecue sauce, jalapeño, bacon and pineapple.
Calzones, pasta, salads, cold sandwiches and hot oven grinders fill out the menu, and pizzas can be made with a 14-inch gluten-free crust or vegan cheese. Eat in, take it to go or order delivery.
