Lobster Shop has been open on Commencement Bay since 1981, and from its spot on Ruston Way the dining room looks out toward Mount Rainier and the Olympics. The menu pairs Pacific Northwest seafood with Prime dry-aged steaks, and lobster turns up in several dishes, including the lobster rolls.
On weekdays the bar and lounge run a 21-and-over happy hour with oyster specials. There’s also a private room for parties.
