Peaks & Pints is a craft beer taproom, bottle shop and tavern on North 26th Street in Proctor. The tall ceiling dates to the movie theater that filled the space in the early 1900s, and vintage mountain scenes on the walls make it feel like an old mountain saloon. Beer, cider, wine, cold brew and kombucha all pour from a Western red cedar tap log, and a 13-door cooler holds hundreds of bottles and cans to go.
Food sticks to sandwiches, salads and appetizers, and many sandwiches list a suggested beer pairing. The Rainier is made for vegans, with a Field Roast loaf and Chao cheese. It’s 21 and over.
