Black Night Market brings its Holidaze holiday market back to the Tacoma Armory on two Saturdays, November 28 and December 12, 2026. Both nights run from 4 to 10 p.m. at 1001 South Yakima Avenue, and entry is free.
Each market gathers more than 30 BIPOC-owned businesses selling handcrafted art, fashion, skincare and food, with live music, interactive activities and a family-friendly setup. Black Night Market hasn’t posted a vendor list for either date, so the food lineup is still to come.
About Black Night Market
Black Night Market launched in Tacoma on April 29, 2022, as a marketplace where BIPOC business owners could show and sell their products, art and services. Founder Mari Griffin is a Tacoma native and local artist, and the organization describes itself as 100% Black and women-owned and operated. Since that first market it has expanded across Pierce and King counties and worked with more than 2,500 BIPOC-owned businesses and 250 performing artists.
Its bigger events have included food trucks and a beer garden alongside vendors and performers. The Holidaze page lists food among what vendors will be selling but doesn’t say if trucks or a beer garden are part of these two nights.
Plan your visit
The hours are later than last year. The 2025 Holidaze markets at the Armory ran 2 to 8 p.m., while both 2026 dates run 4 to 10 p.m., which makes it an easy evening stop.
The market is free and open to all, and Black Night Market asks shoppers to RSVP online. Vendors and performers who want to take part can sign up through links on the same page.
