Greentrike’s Gingerbread Jamboree, a holiday fundraiser built around decorating gingerbread houses, returns on Thanksgiving weekend, Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29, 2026. It is held in the Pavilion at Hotel Murano, 1320 Broadway in downtown Tacoma.
How the sessions work
Guests sign up for a set session. Saturday has three: 10 to 11:30 a.m., 1 to 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday has one regular session from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Each single admission comes with one prebuilt gingerbread house to decorate and one trip to the candy buffet. On Saturday, Santa Gene is on site all day to sing holiday songs and pose for photos with families.
New this year is the Sip and Sugar Social, a Sunday morning session from 10 a.m. to noon for guests 18 and older. It comes with light snacks and a cash bar while you decorate.
Tickets
Single admission with a house is $60. Additional admission is $25 and does not include a house or the candy buffet. Everyone who attends, including adults who are only accompanying children, needs one of those two tickets because seating is limited. The VIP package is $650 and covers 10 admissions, five houses, unlimited candy buffet visits, early check-in and a reserved table, plus a $15 store credit and a Playful membership. Groups buying eight or more single admissions can add a reserved table for $50.
Registration closes Friday, November 20, 2026, and all ticket sales are final. Money raised supports Greentrike, the nonprofit behind the Children’s Museum of Tacoma and the children’s museum at JBLM.
